Moving into the 4th day of the collection launch, I am still receiving emails for orders and have been up to my neck.
Received a complaint from a customer whom I had missed out on verifying her payment. Such things rarely happen to me but there is an overload of work this time round from invoicing, verifying, packing and delivery. For this collection, I did everything on my own and it is really tiring to work round the clock to reply emails, pack, send to Singpost, come back home again and repeat the entire process. Terribly apologetic to this customer. Received many text messages on my phone as well reg this collection. Could not reply to all as there were too many.
Also, kindly opt for registered postage, I cannot reiterate enough. The number of lost packages are increasing and I received insider news that deliveries will be terribly delayed and Straits Time is looking into it by calling up blogshop owners and delivery bases. As for VGY, I will definitely mail out your envelope without fail. When backorder pieces arrived and there were not enough pcs to mail out to customers whom have paid up, I informed those affected customers and provide a refund to them rather than telling a blatant lie that their package have been mailed out. For someone who works hard for her own school fees and allowance, I know too well that money is hard to earn and it is beyond me to cheat customers of their monies. So my point is still, please, opt for reg postage.
These are from Heathrow Airport from London. I love the brush because it is not available in Sg. I hate the cream eye shadow though. Gotten brown eye liner as it looks softer with pink/blue/gold eyeshadow color. Using black as your liner will make your eyes appear too fierce with the pastel colors.
And dearest J curled my hair again using BabyLiss Curler for my presentation day. I love my hair so much now. Used to have thin fine hair with balding spots (balding spots can you believe it!??). My hair is getting thicker as each day passes :) And I absolutely love my new hair color. Its really soft brown like ang moh baby hair haha if you get what I mean. Thank you J!! I love you!!
And I bought the latest season nude heels from Aldo thanks to Beatrice haha. Wanted to go to Vivo City @ Topshop to get the last pair of patented dark nude heels. Thank god I dropped by salon Vim to say bye to my baby and saw Bea there doing her hair, again –.- Taitai life hur.. She recommended Aldo haha. Bea if you are reading this, THANK YOU!

Ever since I got together with J, he brought me to so many places for foodies. My favourite of all is
Frog Leg porridge @ Geylang (the one opposite the Beef Kway Tiao). We have been visiting this place since..4 months ago? Haha. And I always finish 3 frogs myself.

All in all, he is the culprit for my weight gain. I gained 3.5kg and im almost a UK size 8 now. Im 47.5kg now, am I overweight?
And remember this dress, Liese Toga in Black from the latest CNY collection? I kept in both colors and many asked me about it during VGY Saturday meetup @ Vainpot. I was working in my shop and handling both VGY and MMTP self collection. Most did not recognize it was from the latest collection haha. So my cream piece is for CNY :)
I will do a review on a few makeup products I bought like the highly reviewed Lancome Tient Miracle Liquid Foundation and the new Bella Blush Blusher from Benefit.
Need to get back to work. Emails are piling up as I blog and I have 2 projects to submit tomorrow :( Cried when I called J a moment ago. Too stressed up after receiving the complaint email from a customer. Sob~

Sunday, January 23, 2011 :: Countdown to 2011 & Fion’s 21st
It has been so long since I last blogged. School has kept me really busy with 7 projects due within 2 months O_O And my really bad cough is not making things any better.
I had a wonderful countdown this year because it was a rush against time and the traffic @ MBS. We had to estimate the time well enough to make sure we don’t miss the fireworks while cruising on the road lol. For a hyperactive girl like me, I was really excited and for once, I need not jostle with the mobs haha.
Dearest J curled my hair for me using my current favourite tong; VGY BabyLiss curler ;) He said I should look my best for countdown~ Aww, what a dear.

As you can see, we totally stopped along the expressway, got off the car, snapped loads of photos and watch the fireworks.

Fion’s 21st Birthday
This mermaid black maxi sold like hotcakes in VGY KissJane. The cutting is fabulous!
It will also be sold in VGY upcoming collection. I actually hastily snip and cut this maxi 10 mins before I leave my house so I get the best fit haha. J dropped his mouth like a goldfish and ask what the hell was I doing to my dress teehee. Anything that doesn’t fit me will eventually go under my scissors :p Many thanks to my vertically challenged height, I have taken an addict to cutting long dresses.
Daniel; The Golden Boy who designed and made his own crop blazer from scratch. Quite a pretty sight isn’t he? hahaha.

And to end off this post, here’s an upcoming dress from the new collection. I love it so much it will be 1 of my CNY dresses! :)
And, the leopard scarf will be out as well. I have been using it so often. Around my neck, draping on my shoulders, wearing it as a belt and tying it on my bag. It jazzes up my entire outfit and it’s an eye candy when I use it on my plain brown bag! For one, I love leopard prints (not zebra prints!) and gold so much! I find that these 2 design/color always enhances my look!
Lastly, a hermes inspired scarf in red will be out as well so keep a look out for it! ;) It’s really pretty!

Friday, January 7, 2011 :: Collection 75 Launch
I will be launching Collection 75 soon! Comes with the advert for the mascara that VGY is sponsored with!
I will be keeping up my momentum with VGY again once school kicks off officially next wk. Constantly bogged by 93k debt I landed myself in. Haven’t hear from the police regarding the bastard’s hearing in court. Wonder how many charges will the police slap him with.
That aside, I hope 2011 will be a good year for me, as it will for you!
By the way, anyone has a good studio to recommend? My photoshoot package is finishing and I am thinking if I should buy another package. It’s worth 2k upfront. But at this situation, I don’t wish to pull my purse strings tighter by forking out this amount just for VGY photoshoots. Then again, I do not wish to compromise the quality of the photos.
Someone tell me what to do! Any suggestions?

Wednesday, January 5, 2011 :: Christmas Eve Party
I had the best Christmas this year :*) apart from my childhood ones adorned with White Christmas Tree, pressies by Santa under the tree; where I’d crept to the tree at night to steal a look at what awaits me the next morning. This year is such a blessing ;]
J and I packed these lil goodies and pressies late into the night on the cold hard floor. Kinda cute to see a guy doing wrapping haha. You get what I mean :p
J snipped my hair and tong it using the VGY BabyLiss Curler sold in VGY Collection 73 on Xmas Eve. Before I stepped into the salon, I had the flattest and limpless hair ever thanks to the hair that have outgrown in the 2 months. Thank you darling!

Thanks to Larry & Michelle, I was invited to the Christmas Eve Party @ Natasha Studio located at Clarke Quay MRT Station. Yup, as you can see, this studio has a glass front so passer-bys usually stop and watch while the dancers are practising.

The dinner theme was potluck and boy was everyone generous with the food they brought!

Oh, I really needa sincerely thank this lovely couple here. Despite I am no longer an instructor of the studio due to a busy schedule, they continue to encourage me and be my trusted friends :)
And because of their generosity, I will be getting a White Pomeranian in 1 year’s time for my birthday present! :*)

Head off to Salon Vim and request for John for a hair dye job! He is best at mixing 2-3 colors to create a color not available in charts! XD I don’t know what my color is called but you can request for it if the colors are still available!
