Have you been busy lately?
I HAVE BEEN SO BUSY!
With exams around the corner and approx 40 chapters 3 modules to study, I am wayyy behind time compared to my peers who started studying 3 weeks before me. I have no choice. Launching VGY Collection 78 and preparation for Vainpot new shop opening took a lot of time. My organizer was filled with
SETTLE EMAILS,
VERIFY PAYMENTS,
CONTACT SINGPOST,
GET QUOTATIONS FOR RENOVATION,
MEET CONTRACTOR,
MEET CARPENTER,
MEET LANDLORD,
GO SINGTEL REG FOR LINE & INTERNET,
GO PUB REG FOR A UTILITIES ACCOUNT and many more.
For the first time, I will be failing my exams. Gulp.
It was helluva crazy cramming all these before my final exams. Thank god I have my partners with me from MMTP! :)
BY THE WAY, Vainpot is now a registered business and we go by the name THE VAINPOT BOUTIQUE! Weeee~~~
People see all the glamour all the wow-you-are-so-young-and-capable-your-shop-so-nicey-nice but simple things like carpentry; it was so hard to choose the right wood for the new shop.
I almost went blind staring at hundreds of different wood designs in a day.
In the end, we chose a range of very solid and durable wood with wood finishing laminate. The price is on the higher end but we are all happy when we saw the end product ;)
Our renovation and carpentry work is done by dearest J’s family who are in the line of interior designing and renovation. Anybody wants to do renovation can drop me an email :) Yup! You will be given discount on my recommendation!
After opening Vainpot Boutique, we have left it where it was last finished as we are all taking our final exams ZOMG! You can look forward to seeing a prettier Vainpot during our official opening in May! Double wee~~~
I can’t get enough of my curling tong hehe. Absolutely in love with my hair every single day. The shine, the lustre hair I have always wanted thanks to the constant treatment and care I receive from J. He makes sure my scalp gets a good massage weekly so blood can circulate and my roots will be healthier. He is damnnn good with his massage haha. Often joked with him he can qualify to be a masseuse :p
I think I am the best living testament that your hair & scalp condition can improve drastically under good care. Ask my dearest busty Fel and she can tell you I bald like nobody’s business during age 19 – 21 in poly years. It was so terrible you can see bald spots on (1) my crown (2) behind my left ear lope and (3) at my temple. The worst thing is people laugh at me in my face! Imagine the inferiority and hurt. Busty Fel even had to help me pouf up my hair constantly, find hair from other spots to cover the baldness during VGY photoshoot. Yes, it was that terrible :’[
I stopped balding and my hair became so much healthier after I met J - Which is the greatest blessing next to finding the man of my dreams :*)
Blue tube jumpsuit worn below is sold in VGY Collection 77 and now available in Vainpot Boutique
Floral Maxi worn below is sold in VGY Collection 78 and its my current favourite maxi!! I must have been a maxi fairy in my past life……
Will update this space more often from May onwards! Keep a lookout for 2 videos on makeup and how I curl my hair using VGY BabyLiss curling tong! Did the videos while I was in HK with J!
Last of all, I will be launching VGY manufactured maxi in a new collection in May! Keep a lookout for a fresh new collection with yummy visuals and a surprise for all of my dear customers!
Wish me luck for my exams! & all the best to the students out there taking their exams!
Omg babe I have the same hair problem as you when you are younger then. Any way you can help/recommend me? Its so embarrassing to have bald patch. I would love to have health/thick looking hair soon :(
ReplyDeleteBest Wishes for the papers Tricia! :)
ReplyDeletebabe!please make a video of how u do ur make up:P
ReplyDeletetricia! i've had bad experiences with hair dressers regarding my bald patches. one even INSISTED i was pregnant hence my hair was dropping. i said i was under a lot of stress and for goodness sake, am i that fat i look pregnant??? needless to say she pissed me off so much i never went back to her. i hope to find a miracle shampoo or smth :S
ReplyDeleteHi there! It is a long term thing! you have to slowly improve your eating habits, don't pull your hair back to a pony tail too often, scrub your scalp and massage every bath, use the right shampoo! It is also about using the right hair dye color. If you have thin hair and you have bright color like blond, it will make you look like you have even lesser hair. Dont worry! If you take care of these little things, your hair condition will definitely improve! :) Mine took about 1 - 1.5 years!
ReplyDeleteHi there! You are so kind! Thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteHello! Hmm...okay haha. I will put up the video when I finish my exams :)
ReplyDeletemy dear! A hairdresser said you are pregnant? So rude!? oh dear.. Its actually not about any miracle shampoo. If you read my reply above, it is a long term take-care thing where you have to avoid tying your hair so often, eat proper meals (J asked me to avoid salt), take foods like pig liver (i know is disgusting but it has good stuff in it that keeps your hair strong and healthy), drink alot of water, use scalp shampoo & do abit of massage to get the blood flowing in your head; reactivate those cells in your roots, use the right conditioner for the lower part of your hair etc.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like its alot of work to do but actually, its just little little stuff that you pay more attention to :)
Thank you so much for the help! What shampoo are you using now?
